Indonesian Language and Literature Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research in the fields of Indonesian linguistics, literature, and cultural studies. The journal serves as an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners to explore and discuss contemporary and classical issues related to the Indonesian language and its literary traditions.

Focus and Scope
The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and critical essays covering, but not limited to:

  • Indonesian linguistics 

  • Indonesian literature

  • Cultural studies related to Indonesian texts and contexts

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles can be read, downloaded, and distributed without subscription or payment.

Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

History of the Journal
